Early Voting Ends Tomorrow for Runoff

Patty Threadgill, Election Supervisor of the Meriwether County Board of Elections, announced that Advanced Voting will end tomorrow (Friday, June 12) for the General Primary Run-Off Election.
Advanced Voting will be held at the Meriwether County Board of Elections and Registration office located at 756 Woodbury Highway, Suite B in Greenville on Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Advanced Voting will be held at the Meriwether County Board of Elections and Registration office located at 756 Woodbury Highway, Suite B in Greenville on Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
On the Democratic ballot in the runoff voters will select from the following candidates.
In the race for Lieutenant Governor on the Democratic ballot will be Josh McLaurin and Nabilah Parkes battling for a chance to advance to the November election.
Democratic voters will choose between Dana Barrett or Penny Brown Reynolds for the opportunity to seek the Secretary of State seat in November.
Democratic voters will determine who will be on the ballot in November for the Commissioner of Labor between Nikki Porcher or Michelle Michi Sanchez.
They will also determine if DeAndre Mathis or Keisha Sean Waites will be on the November ballot to seek the Commissioner of Insurance seat.
Voters choosing to vote Republican will choose between Rick Jackson and Burt Jones to seek the Governor’s seat in November.
Battling for the right to seek the Lt. Governor’s seat in November will be Greg Dolezal and John F. Kennedy.
Mike Collins and Derek Dooley are vying for a chance to seek the U.S. Senate seat.
Incumbent Richard Woods will see opposition from Fred “Bubba” Longgrear in his attempt to run again in November.
Tim Fleming and Vermon Jones hope to earn the right to seek the Secretary of State seat in November.
