WRALL baseball, softball claim South Section title and advance to state championship tournament

Warner Robins American Little League has two district, and now section championships, under their belt with a chance for more as the sandlot softball team advances to the Little League State Championship.
The coach pitch baseball team beat Northern Little League on Sunday at Western Little League. They opened the bracket with a 14-8 win over Northern, who beat Vine Ingle and Peach County to get into the championship game.
WRALL, who beat Peach County 11-8 in the semifinals, won their sixth straight with Sunday’s championship victory.
The sandlot softball team also won their section championship after beating Harris County on Sunday.
They beat Pioneer Little League 6-0 in the first game of the tournament on Friday, and followed it with a close 5-4 win against Dudley Little League on Saturday.
Harris County lost to Dudley 12-6 in the first game, but turned around and returned the favor 5-4 on Saturday to advance to the championship game.
