The Mayor and Council presented Chief Wayne Cato and Officer Roy Harper with Commendations for saving the life of a teenager severly injured in an accident on May 10.

Patty Threadgill, Election Supervisor of the Meriwether County Board of Elections, announced that Advanced Voting will end tomorrow (Friday, June 12) for the General Primary Run-Off Election. Advanced Voting will be held at the Meriwether County Board of Elections and Registration office located at 756 Woodbury Highway, Suite B in Greenville on Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
