Talbot County 4-H has announced upcoming activities for this summer.
4-H is the nation’s largest youth leadership development organization, empowering nearly six million young people across the U.S. with the skills to lead for a lifetime, and Georgia is proud to be one of the largest state programs in the country with almost 170,000 active 4-H’ers across the state.

4-H is the nation’s largest youth leadership development organization, empowering nearly six million young people across the U.S. with the skills to lead for a lifetime, and Georgia is proud to be one of the largest state programs in the country with almost 170,000 active 4-H’ers across the state.
The four H’s symbolize the development of the Head (to think, plan ad reason), the Heart (to be concerned with the welfare of others, accept the responsibility of citizenship and develop positive attitudes), the Hands (to be useful, helpful and skillful) and Health (to practice healthy living, enjoy life and use time wisely).
4-H has announced Zora’s Kids Kickball Club and the club will allow for summer fun where you can learn the game of kickball. Events will also allow you to draw the game, dance the game and play the game.
Zora’s Kickball Club will help you enjoy sport, fitness, arts and crafts and music and dance.
Zora’s Kickball Club is open to third through seventh graders. Snacks and beverages will be served at the events. Be sure to register soon because space is limited to only 16 slots.
To register for Lora’s Kickball Club you may call or visit the Talbot County 4-H office. between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Registration will end on June 23.

The events for Zora’s Kickball Club are as follows:
• On Tuesday, June 23 there will be a Zora’s Kickball Club Kickoff Party between the hours of 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
• On Wednesday, June 24 the first training day will be held between the hours of 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
• On Wednesday, July 1 Kick Art Day will be observed from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
• On Thursday, July 2 4-H will hold Kickoff Day between the hours of 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
• On Tuesday, July 7 Kick Dance Day will be held between the hours of 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
• On Wednesday, July 15, a Field Day will be held between he hours of 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
