Recount to Be Held in Talbot

Sharita Trice, chairperson of the Talbot County Board of Elections and Registration has announced that her office will participate in the statewide recount of the votes cast for the Public Service Commissioner, District 3 for the Republican Party.

Sharita Trice, chairperson of the Talbot County Board of Elections and Registration has announced that her office will participate in the statewide recount of the votes cast for the Public Service Commissioner, District 3 for the Republican Party.
According to Trice, a recount of votes cast in the May 19, Republican General Primary Election for Public Service Commission District 3 will take place at the Talbot County Board of Elections office located at 1761 Geneva Highway in Talbotton on Thursday, June 25 beginning at 10 a.m. and will begin with Logic & Accuracy testing of the scanners that will be used to conduct the recount.
After testing has concluding, the recount will begin at 11 a.m. and continue until completed.
The recount proceeding shall be open to the public. Members of the public attending the recount will be required to remain within designated viewing areas and comply with all instructions necessary to maintain the orderly conduct of the recount.
