Pine Mountain Mayor Encourages More to Join “Walk”
Mayor Mary Ruth Mullins is inviting more residents to lace up their walking shoes and join her each Monday morning for the Town of Pine Mountain’s weekly “Walk with the Mayor” initiative along the Man O’ War Trail.
“Who Are you? Who, Who, Who, Who?”
Admit it – some of you had to sing that.
Those that have been around for a while will remember that song made popular by the band, appropriately named, The Who in 1978.
Realignment of Mountain Hill Road Approved
By a unanimous vote last week, the Harris County Commissioners approved developing a plan for the realignment of Mountain Hill Road.
Commission Chair Susan Andrews explained the Georgia Department of Transportation has cited a need to realign 1000 feet of Mountain Hill Road just north of SR 315 at The Grove development. A roundabout is scheduled for construction in the area and that plan is scheduled to be ready in October.

Pictured during his trial, Patrick Crusius was found guilty on 22 counts of using a firearm to commit murder among other charges stemming from a murderous rampage at a Walmart in El Paso, TX. By his own admission, Crusius was targeting Mexicans.
Copeland Sentenced to Life
Talbot County resident Semaj Copeland was sentenced to life in prison with a possibility of parole in the murder of Manchester High student athlete Daryus Bryant on Thursday, July 23 in Muscogee County Superior Court.
