Talbot Man Arrested in Phenix City Murder Case
A Talbot County man was taken into custody on Monday, May 11 in connection with a Phenix City, AL murder case, according to police reports.
According to reports, Harvey Lee Walker, 36, of Columbus was pronounced dead after a shooting incident that occurred at the Colonial Inn located on Highway 80 in Phenix City on Monday May 11 around 2 a.m.
A Talbot County man was taken into custody on Monday, May 11 in connection with a Phenix City, AL murder case, according to police reports.
According to reports, Harvey Lee Walker, 36, of Columbus was pronounced dead after a shooting incident that occurred at the Colonial Inn located on Highway 80 in Phenix City on Monday May 11 around 2 a.m.
The Phenix City Police Department responded to the scene and have stated that Walker sustained a single gunshot wound. His body was taken to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences in Montgomery for an autopsy.
According to police reports, Tionne Carreker was taken into custody by the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office at a location in Junction City on a charge f capital murder. He was taken into custody without incident and is expected to be extradited back to Phenix City.
According to reports, LaVincent Harris was also arrested in the case and charged with tampering with physical evidence and possession of marijuana in the first degree as a result of the investigation.
Reports also noted that Tisha Gibson is being sought on an outstanding warrant for capital murder and law enforcement is attempting to locate her.

According to police, the investigation into the incident is ongoing and more arrested are expected in the case.
