GBI and Manchester PD Seek HelpTo Locate Suspect in Murder Case

The GBI and the Manchester Police Department are asking for the public’s help in locating Kimani Copeland a suspect in the case. Copeland is allegedly involved in the incident that took the life of Shawn Jackson, Jr.. According a GBI press release, Copeland will be facing aggravated assault and murder charges in connection to the death of Jackson, 29, of Fayetteville. According to a press release by the GBI, the charges stem from a shooting that occurred on Wednesday, Apr. 30 at about 12 a.m. in Manchester.

This coming Sunday is Easter, so I hope you have prepared your bonnet and your eggs. I have never really understood why a rabbit and eggs are the secular representations of Easter, though. Rabbits don’t lay eggs. (At least I’ve always heard that whatever it is they do leave behind, they ain’t eggs.) And I do get the part about “renewal” and all, but still … rabbits?  Eggs? Come on.
