Vehicle fleeing police results in single-vehicle collision, fatalities
The Georgia State Patrol was requested to investigate a single vehicle fatality accident that occurred in the 1200 block of Russell Parkway on January 21, 2022, at approximately 12:51 a.m.
Officers with the Warner Robins Police Department attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle for Failure to Maintain Lane. The vehicle failed to stop and fled west on Russell Parkway at a high rate of speed. The driver quickly lost control of the vehicle and crashed.
Officers discovered there were two occupants in the vehicle who are both deceased. The traffic violation and attempted stop first occurred in the area of Tallulah Trail and Russell Parkway at the 600 Block. Georgia State Patrol will release any further details about the accident.
