For 37 years, members of Team Robins who have passed away

have been honored at the annual Camellia Garden Memorial Service.

The names that are etched on the gold plaque that is placed

on the Camellia Garden Memorial are “much more than a name on a plaque,” said

Maj. Gen. Craig Gourley during the memorial address Thursday.

Officials paid tribute to 59 deceased Team Robins members. A

total of 1,896 deceased military members and civilians have been honored.

The Robins Air Force Base Honor Guard delivered a 21-gun

salute and “Taps” was played as those who attended saluted or placed their

hands over their hearts.

“Each person were valued members at Team Robins,” said

Gourley.
