* Another Prayer For Our Nation-USA *

Greetings and blessings! Today, we are approaching the end of our nation’s 250th July month anniversary. Of course, I’m concerned, more so, worried, that we are on a runaway track to destruction and our only hope is a higher power, God Almighty! I’m totally saddened and disturbed at what unfortunately is happening in America right now and it’s not a good feeling. So, please take notice, we are in a deadly war of the President’s choosing who said it would be over in weeks and now, 5 months later, we are still going. Most concerning is 18 soldiers’ lives have been sacrificed from this senseless, wreckage war. Rightly so, I proudly salute and honor my fallen comrades and their families too. This unpopular war has driven prices sky high in every category. In fact, we’re spending countless billions of dollars making a show of force and power instead of having sensible diplomatic negotiations. It’s pretty obvious that those calling the shots know very little about war tactics. But anyway, as a child, I learned to never go in if I don’t see my way out. I also learned, let well enough alone and if it’s not broken, then don’t try to fix it. And again, my mind refers back to this scripture that’s most appropriate for such a time as this. “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, (yes! we have been and still are very bad), then I will hear from heaven, and forgive their sin and will heal their land (nation).” (II Chronicles 7:14). God’s Word hasn’t and will never change, it stands alone and need no help or props. God also said, “Before My Word shall fail, Heaven and Earth will pass away.” So then, I do know who is in control, so if you would, let’s fervently pray in unity and agree in this short prayer. “Oh, gracious Father in heaven, I come humbly before you, lifting up the United States of America. I pray for unity and restoration among its people, that love may bridge the divides, and that grace may guide our interactions. Grant wisdom and discernment to our leaders, so that they may govern with integrity, decency, respect and seek the well-being of all. May Your peace reign in our land, and may Your purposes prevail. In Your mercy, heal our nation, restore hope (that’s now lost), and let righteousness and justice flow like a might river.” Please Lord, we ask in Jesus Name!
Yet still, we as a people have always risen above adversity, finding strength and resilience in our shared values and collective spirits. America, it’s extremely essential that we come together on one accord and fervently pray. And be reminded, “Where there is unity, there is strength.” Do know, “…The fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much,” (James 5:16). Finally, my brethren and my friends, let us stand together, united in faith and united in purpose. And sincerely ask God to “Create in us all a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within us,” (Psalms 51:10). “So that we may do what it right and pleasing in His sight.” In doing so, Oh what a mighty and profound difference it will make in the United States! May God Grace the USA!
