Houston County Sheriff’s Office investigating Hawkinsville shooting
HAWKINSVILLE, Ga. — The Houston County Sheriff’s Office said a shooting took place on the Houston County side of Hawkinsville early Sunday morning.
According to a release, on Sunday, Jan. 14, around 1:20 a.m., deputies in the patrol division responded to an aggravated assault at 206 Pitts Road.
When deputies arrived, they found a white male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported via Houston County EMS to Atrium Health Navicent in stable condition.
The Sheriff’s Office has not yet revealed any leads on a suspect so far.
