On May 20, 2020 at 11:15 a.m., Warner Robins Police officers were dispatched to the area of Greenbriar Road and Elberta Road, originally in reference to a kidnapping.

The victim reported her car stolen at 3:42 a.m. Wednesday morning from her residence at 1005 Elberta Road. The suspect, Jayln Hunlen, reportedly was back in the area later at around 11:15 a.m. where the victim saw him.

The victim got into her reported stolen car with Hunlen, and he drove away. Witnesses called 911 reporting the victim had been kidnapped. A lookout for the stolen vehicle, a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu, was broadcasted to local agencies.

An officer observed the vehicle south on Highway 247, exit on to Highway 96, and traveled into the residential area of Misty Valley Lane. The suspect fled on foot through the yards while the victim stayed with her recovered vehicle. A K-9 track was conducted, but unsuccessful. A weapon was found in the vehicle along with marijuana.

The suspect has not been located at this time after an extensive search by Warner Robins Police and Houston County Sheriff’s Office. Hunlen, 24, was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, black jogging pants and black shoes. He is 6’1”, 160 lbs. with short dreds.
