Paul Joseph Herbert

Paul Joseph Herbert, 84, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017, after an extended illness. A private graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. in Perry Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Herbert was born in Rushville, Indiana, on May 10, 1933, to the late Louis C. Herbert and the late Dorothy May Duncan Herbert. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1951 to 1959 and was honorably discharged with the rank of Corporal. He married the late Dovie Herbert in 1963 and built a life with her for 53 years. In 1970, they moved from Greensfork, IN, to Perry, GA, where Mr. Herbert provided for his family and worked at Continental Can for 23 years. He was a member of Second Memorial Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Left to cherish the memory of Mr. Herbert are his daughter, Debbie Camr (Jiri) of Czech Republic; his grandchildren, William Joseph Coon, Tamara Wynn, Richelle Barrett Lambert (Phil), and Dr. Britt Barrett; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
