The Warner Robins Police Department’s Traffic Unit is investigating a serious motor vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of Watson Boulevard and Willie Lee Parkway, Thursday.

Brianna Reid, 26, driver of a 2017 Nissan, was traveling eastbound on Watson Boulevard when Betty Phillips, 81, driver of a 1994 Ford F-150, attempted a left hand turn (south) in front of her. Phillips’ vehicle was struck on the passenger side and overturned. Both Phillips and her husband Johnny, 89, were transported to Navicent Health in Macon with serious injuries. Reid followed up with Houston Medical Center later in reference to an injury complaint.

As of Friday morning, the traffic unit is still investigating the accident and no charges have been filed yet.
