Nonglak “Lucky” Mahler

Warner Robins – Lucky Mahler passed away peacefully at home on the morning of Sunday, August 12, 2018. She was 79.

Lucky was born in Wang-Waa, Thailand on December 27, 1938 to the late Kob and Huad Yuaekyen. A retired seamstress at Pendleton Woolen Mills, her great loves included sewing, golf, gardening, cooking Thai cuisine for her huge family, and spending time with her family.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of 46 years, John Frederick Mahler, Jr. of Warner Robins; children, Napaporn “Pam” Chulawat-Ong, Kamchornvuthi “Pawn” Chulavatr, Suthipranee “Genie” Chulawat-Salevao, Chatikorn “Pook” Chulawat, Eric Mahler, Barry Mahler, and David Mahler; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and brother, Udom Yuaekyen of Plutaluang, Thailand.

The family will receive friends at McCullough Funeral Home on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Lucky to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry St., Ste A, Macon, GA 31201 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
