Little League Softball and Baseball regional tourney is almost here
Warner Robins is the headquarters of the Little League Southeast Region and it’s about time for the regional tournament to begin. This will be its return since the COVID-19 pandemic canceled all of last year’s Little League tournaments.
The Southeast Region teams include Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
The Little League Softball Southeast Region plays from July 24 to July 27. Georgia will compete against South Carolina in the third game of opening day at 5:00 p.m.
In the 2019 Little League Softball Southeast Regional Tournament, Georgia was eliminated after coming up short against Florida and Virginia.
Opening day for the Little League Baseball Southeast Regional Tournament is August 6 and ends on August 11. Georgia will play South Carolina at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 6.
In the 2019 tournament, Georgia advanced to the Southeast Region Final and lost to Virginia 12-2.
The Southeast Region Tournaments will be held at 439 Snellgrove Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088 and more details on the tournament can be found at littleleague.org.
