Fresh Start Tobacco Cessation

Created by the American Cancer Society, this four session course is designed to help you quit smoking or using tobacco products. Sessions are taught by a Registered Nurse with special training in assisting participants in tobacco avoidance.

How to Prevent or Delay Type 2 Diabetes

Research has proven that Type 2 diabetes can be delayed or prevented in persons at risk. This program was created by the National Diabetes Education Program (NDEP) to provide individuals with basic tools to help them make appropriate lifestyle changes and reduce their risk for developing diabetes.

Tai Chi *NEW*

Led by a certified instructor, these one-hour classes meet two times per week for six weeks. This Arthritis Foundation program developed by Dr. Paul Lam, uses gentle Sun-style Tai Chi routines that are safe, easy to learn and suitable for every fitness level. Medical studies confirm the Tai Chi Program relieves pain, reduces falls and improves quality of life. It will also help to reduce stress, increase balance and flexibility and improve overall mind, body and spirit.
