Dr. Gururaj Nayak

It is with great sorrow that we inform you of the passing of our beloved Dr. Gururaj Nayak on Wednesday, May 23 at 12:35 PM. He is survived by his wife Roopa, daughter Risha, mother Kalyani Nayak, brother Kundan Nayak, sister Hemalatha, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Viewing is at Hart’s Mortuary and Crematory 765 Cherry Street, Macon, Georgia 31201 (478)746-4321 on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 5-7 PM. Funeral service is on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 1-3 PM. Cremation ceremony follows immediately after funeral service.

Dr. Gururaj Nayak was an internist in Fort Valley, Georgia and was affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Houston Medical Center and Medical Center of Peach County, Navicent Health. He had been in practice for more than 21 years. He graduated with honors from New York University School Of Medicine in 1995. He graduated from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in 1990 and specialized in internal medicine.
