Car repo leads to Warner Robins woman’s arrest
On November 7, Warner
Robins Police Department Officer Christopher Scuderi responded to a dispute
that took place on 2945 Watson Blvd. that involved Kynnedi ‘Rae Joan Charles
attempting to drive a white Mercedes off of a towing truck.
Greene has been charged with Reckless Conduct and two counts of Felony
Obstruction.
Officer Colt Eugene Rogers had already been on the scene before Scuderi’s
arrival and had advised Greene to exit the vehicle; however, she refused.
Once Scuderi had arrived on the scene he had also advised Charles to exit the
vehicle several times, but once again she refused to do so. The dispute then
became criminal once Charles did not follow the officers lawful command.
Eventually, Charles acted as if she was about to exit the vehicle, but managed
to crank up the vehicle and lock the doors. Greene then stood at the rear
driver window of the vehicle again, giving Charles commands to exit the
vehicle.
While Charles attempted to reach for the gearshift, Greene then was forced to
break the rear window and Scuderi opened the door. She then floored the
accelerator and Scuderi jumped to put the now moving vehicle in park.
Greene still resisted being removed for the vehicle. Officers gave her verbal
commands to put her hands behind her back and she refused to comply. Although
Scuderi had advised Greene that he would tase and pepper spray her in an
attempt to remove her from the driver seat of the vehicle, these actions were
no needed. Both officers were able to remove Greene without the use of these tactics.
Officers escorted Greene away from the vehicle, and in the process she begin to
act as if she could no longer stand neither walk. The EMS was called out to the
scene to examine Greene. She was transported to the Houston Medical Center to
be treated for her complaints of injuries and minor cuts under her feet where
she had stepped in the glass from the broken window.
