Byron man dies from motorcycle accident

A Byron man has died as a result of an accident involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Booth Road and Wellborn Road.
 
According to the Warner Robins Police Department, around 7 p.m., Marcus Jerome Allen, 27, was traveling west on Booth Road when he lost control of his Yamaha YZ 250. He hit a utility pole and was ejected from the motorcycle.
 
Allen was taken to the Houston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
