Business robbed at gunpoint
PERRY — A local business was robbed at gunpoint last week, and the suspect is still at large, said the Perry Police Department.
Advanced Auto, 1335 Ball St., Perry, had an undisclosed amount of cash taken.
“They had an individual come into the Advanced Auto around 8:50 p.m. (Oct. 13),” said Capt. Heath Dykes. “He had gloves on, a mask, brandished a firearm and demanded the money.”
Dykes said the suspect took money out of the till and then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount.
The police department has no suspects at this time; however, the suspect is described as a black male standing at 6-foot-1-inch and weighing about 185 pounds.
If anyone has any information, he or she is asked to call Perry Police Det. Jason Jones at 478-344-2824.
