Sandra Hernandez is a Staff Writer for the Houston Home Journal. Although she was born in Perry, she grew up in Warner Robins and is a Houston County native. She graduated from Middle Georgia State University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in New Media and Communication. While in college, she served as Editor-in-Chief for the school’s newspaper The Statement. During her junior year, she started working with the Journal in 2023 and has been informing and connecting with her community since then. When she is not in the newsroom or chasing a story, she enjoys reading, watching movies/shows, listening to music, and spending time with her family and friends.
