Alleged bank robber arrested

An alleged bank robber was arrested Tuesday evening by the
Warner Robins Police Department and the Houston County Sheriff’s Office.
The robbery happened around 2:18 p.m. Monday at the HEA
Federal Credit Union on 121 Osigian Blvd. An investigation revealed a male,
later identified as Michael Anthony Bartley, 35, of Warner Robins, walked into
the business, handed the teller a note demanding money, and then fled the
business on foot. No injuries were reported.
Bartley was arrested at 5:47 p.m. Tuesday on the 500-block
of Smithville Church Road. He is charged with robbery by intimidation and is
currently being held in the Houston County Jail.
The robbery is still under investigation.
