A new Sgt. in town
Daniel Sweat is pinned with his new badge by his wife Megan at his promotion ceremony held on Friday. Sweat, who has been a police officer with the City of Perry since 2007, was promoted to Sergeant. Sweat has recorded numerous hours of additional training since he became an officer. He also serves on the Houston County Sheriff’s Response Team.
