Clerk killed in robbery

On Tuesday at approximately 12:15 AM, the Houston County Sheriff’s Office responded to J&J Dollar Store (also known as Knodishall Gift Shop), located at 102 Knodishall Drive in Warner Robins. Patrol deputies were dispatched to the store regarding an armed robbery and a person who had been shot.

Upon arrival, deputies located a female victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper chest. Emergency medical personnel arrived on scene and transported the victim to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

The victim is identified as 43-year old Sabrina Renee Dollar of Warner Robins. Ms. Dollar was a clerk at the store.

Responding deputies secured the store and located several witnesses who were inside when the robbery occurred. Sheriff’s investigators arrived on scene to conduct the investigation. According to information obtained during interviews, three males armed with handguns entered the store and began robbing the clerks and one patron. During the robbery, one of the suspects shot the victim ad struck her on the head with a handgun.

The suspects were all wearing dark clothing and full masks during the robbery. The suspects fled on foot north on Knodishall Drive. An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the store.

The investigation into this homicide and armed robbery continues. Sgt. Anna Lange is the lead investigator. Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt. Lange at 478-542-2080 or 478-542-2085.
