Multiple shots fired, man suffers wound to face

On Monday at approximately 11:30 p.m., Warner Robins Police responded to the 600 Block of Maplewood Drive in reference to a shooting.

The victim suffered a gunshot wound to his right cheek area and was transported to Navicent Health for treatment. The injury is reported as non-life threatening.

The victim reported that he was home alone when he heard knocking on his door, and upon opening the door, an unknown white male fired multiple shots before fleeing the scene. This incident is being investigated by the Criminal Investigations Division.
