The Perry Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Applebee’s located at 100 Valley Dr. April 17. Chamber Chair Beth McLaughlin along with members of the board of directors and other Perry business leaders were present to celebrate with general manager Dan Pittman and his staff. Guests will enjoy a more updated look in the restaurant’s newly refurbished interior.

The top-to-bottom update of the restaurant includes: A brighter, more open bar, guests will find it easier to see the many new plasma televisions in the bar area and around the restaurant; New upholstery on booths and chairs. Also, new carpet, paint and wall covering; New light fixtures; Updated photos and murals on the walls with an exclusive focus on local events, sports teams and schools, as well as local activities.

“Just like our neighbors who have home improvement projects they have to tackle from time to time to keep their houses looking good, we do the same in our restaurants,” said Pittman. “We know our guests are going to love the bright, fresh new look in our Applebee’s®.”  “We’ve got something for everyone on our menu, and now we have even more!”
