WR’s Stegall tabbed tops in 2-AAAAA

Warner Robins High’s Asha Stegall is the girls basketball

Player of the Year for Region 2-AAAAA She averaged 14.2 points, 4.5 rebounds,

four steals and 3.4 assists for the Demonettes, who used her leadership to win

the 2-AAAAA tournament title, the third in a row for Tom Mobley’s program.

 

“We would have been nowhere close without her,” said Mobley.

Stegall scored 29 points in the championship game Feb. 16 vs. Evans High. The

senior is an Honor Student and started on all three WRHS champions.
