Due to overwhelming demand, the Jeff Smith Independence Day Celebration committee is establishing a waiting list for those that were unable to obtain tickets after the original release date of Saturday, May 30. Through a detailed review process of existing ticket holders, they were able to return numerous tickets to inventory that will be available for re-issue.
Beginning Saturday, June 20, at 9 a.m., you can add your name to the waiting list by visiting www.hometowncelebration.org and clicking the “IDC Waiting List” button on the home page. The link will be taken down once all remaining available tickets are issued.
In addition to requesting tickets, you may also request access to the handicapped/special needs parking area. All attendees wishing to park in this lot must have a valid Handicapped Parking Permit or License Tag and the owner of that tag must be a passenger in the vehicle and a ticket holder for the event.
By adding your name to the waiting list, you are not guaranteed tickets. Tickets will be issued on a first come, first served basis. If you are issued tickets, you will receive an email no later than four business days after your request.
This year’s event will be held at the Museum of Aviation and is featuring Country music superstar Darius Rucker, presented by the Air Force Reserve. The concert will be followed by the largest fireworks display in middle Georgia presented by International City Builders.
As always, the Independence Day Celebration is a free event. Tickets are required for entry so that they can manage the maximum allowed capacity at the Museum of Aviation.
The IDC committee has a ZERO tolerance for ticket holders that may attempt to sell tickets illegally through web sources. Please email hometowncelebrationusa@gmail.com if you witness any cases of ticket scalping on the internet. Our team will ensure the associated tickets are voided and ticket holders will not be granted access to the venue.
