Warner Robins

Middle School was closed today, March 11, as a safety precaution due to a

potential gas leak.

School system

maintenance employees have been working with the City of Warner Robins to

correct the problem. Officials anticipate the problem will be resolved in time

to resume classes on Tuesday, March 12.

Warner Robins

Middle School families and employees were notified of the cancellation by

Principal Brett Wallace via an automated calling system. Families can expect

another automated call for information on when classes will officially resume.

To ensure the

safety of students, classes will be cancelled, however employees are required

to report as usual. Employees will meet in a safe area for work. All other

Houston County schools will be open as usual.
