Robins Wins Air Force Environmental Quality Award

A Robins unit has

earned the distinction of having the best environmental quality program in the

Air Force.

The 78th Civil

Engineer Group is the recipient of the Secretary of the Air Force Gen. Thomas

D. White Environmental Quality Award.

The award

recognizes the Air Force installation with the best environmental quality

program.

This award is

truly a Robins Air Force Base community award; it reflects the dedication and

hard work of the 78th Civil Engineer Group Environmental Division but also the

strong environmental commitment of all Robins mission partners,” said Lex

Stokes, 78th CEG asset management director.

The award is named

in honor of General Thomas D. White, who served as Air Force Chief of Staff

from 1957 to 1961.

The 78th CEG also

took home the Air Force’s Cultural Resources Management Award for Individual

and Team Excellence; Sustainability Award for Individual and Team Excellence; and

National Environmental Policy Act Award for Team Excellence.
