It’s all about the cake when student-athletes sign those college scholarships! On Wednesday, Veterans High soccer seniors Michael Bailey, David Gomez and Joseph Faletto gathered with the rest of the Warhawks in the school media center for a celebration of their college signings. Bailey and Faletto will be teammates for Toccoa Falls College in northeast Georgia. This is a program that played in the NCCAA national tournament last fall, finishing in seventh place after winning its region championship. Gomez signed his letter-of-intent with Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus. See more in the March 23 edition of the Houston Home Journal.
