Perry Police arrested four more men suspected of being a

part of the financial fraud ring that has swept through Perry.

Over the past few months Perry Police detectives have been

working several cases that have led to the involvement of other agencies such

as the Georgia Bureau of Investigations and the Secret Service.

Police arrested Roberto Padron-Rivero, Javier Perez, Yuddens

Esquijarosa and Yerlis Fuentes-Caboverde on Tuesday after they were suspected

of committing financial crimes using credit cards.

According to Perry Police Capt. Heath Dykes, the suspects go

to Wal-Mart and purchase gift cards with credit cards that don’t belong to

them.

Dykes said the cards have the suspect’s names on the front,

however the magnetic strip on the back of the cards contains someone else’s

information.

Dykes credited Wal-Mart employees with being alert and

observant of the activity going on. He said the cashiers have been instrumental

in the arrests of the suspects due to their quickness of reporting the

suspicious activity. Most of the crimes have happened at Wal-Mart.

Police recovered 22 counterfeit credit cards from the four

suspects arrested.

They are being held in the Houston County jail without bond.
