The man referred to as the “office creeper” by police has been arrested in North Carolina.
According to Perry Police Capt. Heath Dykes, authorities caught Antonio Hornsby stealing things in an office building just outside of Charlotte.

Perry Police as well as other agencies in middle Georgia were looking for Hornsby after he hit several businesses in the area last week.
Dykes said Hornsby allegedly entered Landmark Realty in Perry last Wednesday and posed as a maintenance worker there to check the air filters and wiring in the building. Dykes said once Hornsby gained access to the building he then stole two wallets out of the purses of the ladies who work in the office.

According to Dykes, shortly after leaving Landmark Realty, the suspect went to Source Care Management located off of Woodland Drive and gave the same story to those employees. Dykes said the suspect stole one wallet from there.

According to police, Hornsby allegedly then made his way to the Georgia National Fairgrounds, where security found him walking through buildings and asked him to leave.

Dykes said it appears that Hornsby hit Cordele, Perry, Byron and Bibb County as well.
Hornsby is wanted in Henry County and Clarke County for burglary, financial transaction card theft and theft by taking automobile.
