Local writer publishes book

“From Out of the Sand” is a newly published book by WestBow Press authored by Steve Sieting, of Warner Robins. It is a book of Christian and family poetry with a condensed autobiography. The poetry is provided by three generations, the author’s mother, Eleanor Sieting; his youngest son, Steven Sieting II, and the author. Although the poetry and the writing are about him and his life experiences, the writing causes you to look inward and then upward and encourages you to be an overcomer in Christ. Many of the poems have additional supportive writing that adds a perspective of the writer under conviction.

The autobiography briefly details how he grew up as an inward child and how that affected his life. Keeping silent as an adult facing many trials brought him to a spiritual breaking point where something had to give. His religion just was not working. It was at the very moment that he began making plans to give up altogether on religion when the Holy Spirit interrupted his thoughts with four simple words, “I hear your cry.” Those words brought him back from depression and despair into seeking the heart of the Lord. He writes with confidence that he is not alone and encourages others to realize that God hears their cry as well.

The writer conveys his very privet feelings for the benefit of others and opens himself up to for you to have a laugh or two at his expense. The reading is easy and very enjoyable.
