HCSNA system art contest winners

HOUSTON COUNTY, GA – Darius

Dickey, second grader at Miller Elementary School, and David Moulder, ninth

grader at Houston County High School, won the system art contest sponsored by

the Houston County School Nutrition Association (HCSNA) Nutrition Advisory

Council. Darius won the K-5 contest and David won for grades 9-12. Their

artwork is pictured.  

 

The Georgia School Nutrition Association (GSNA) holds an annual art contest.

Based on the GSNA state president’s theme, this year’s contest theme is “Future

Forward.” These first place entries have been submitted for the district

competition which will be held this month.

 

Tessany Lewis, David Perdue Elementary Nutrition Manager and HCSNA President,

commented, “We are so proud of these students and of all who participated. We

wish our system winners the best of luck at the district contest!”
