At the Freedom Fireworks, supporting sponsor Walker Insurance Agency announced Ashley Colvin from Oglethorpe as the winner of the 42-inch HD TV giveaway. Ashley’s name was picked in a random Facebook generated contest on June 30. Larry Walker with Walker Insurance Agency located in Perry sponsored the Freedom Fireworks event. “We were glad to be a part of bringing the fireworks back to Perry. The Independence Parade and Freedom Fireworks were a big success. The Perry Area Chamber did a wonderful job orchestrating these events. We enjoyed having Casey Hayward sign autographs in our tent. I was impressed with how generous he was with his time. He seemed to enjoy and appreciate the fans, and he was very courteous. Congratulations to Ashley on winning the television.”
