WR man attacks female
On Tuesday at 8:50 p.m., Warner Robins Police officers met with a 35-year-old female at 1440 Watson Blvd., who was the victim of an armed robbery.
She advised a male, later identified as Alexander Terrell Slater (age 28) of Warner Robins, attacked her in a stairwell with a firearm, choked her with her purse strap and struck her in the face. Slater was able to steal away the victim’s purse and fled in a vehicle. Witnesses were able to inform officers of the suspect’s tag number and vehicle description. The vehicle was later found in the 400 block of Jackie Blvd.
Officers observed Slater, who then fled on foot. Slater was arrested in the area shortly after fleeing. Slater had in his possession marijuana, methamphetamines, as well as a gun being located. Slater was processed at the Warner Robins Police Department then transported to the Houston County Detention Facility. The victim was transported to Houston Healthcare for treatment of injuries.
