Georgia State Patrol, Perry Police Department and Perry Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Perry Parkway and GA-7 early Wednesday morning.

Trooper Michael Strickland said a green 1995 Ford Pickup was traveling north on GA-7 and attempted to make a left turn onto Perry Parkway. The driver of the Ford pickup struck a white semi that was traveling east on Perry Parkway.

Strickland said no one was injured and charges are pending. Preliminary investigation suggests according to Strickland that the driver of the Ford pickup failed to stop at the red light, based on statement from the driver of the semi and a witness.
