Warner Robins Police search for suspect in a Friday night hit and run
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Friday, April 25 at approximately 8:45 p.m. according to a press release.



UPDATE — May 2: The city has announced the vehicle has been located and a suspect has been taken into custody. The investigation remains ongoing.
WARNER ROBINS – A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Friday, April 25 at approximately 8:45 p.m. according to a press release.
Police said the pedestrian was walking on Myrtle Street between Duke Avenue and Green Street. A vehicle was traveling on Myrtle Street and struck the victim, causing fractures to both legs. The vehicle did not stop and left the area.
The suspect’s vehicle is believed to be a silver Honda sedan. The press release says the damage on the vehicle should be minor and near the passenger side front bumper.
The victim was transported to a local area hospital for treatment and is listed in stable condition.
Due to the nature of the victim’s injuries, the Warner Robins Police Department’s Traffic Unit responded to investigate the incident.
