WARNER ROBINS – A business owner assaulted a homeless woman at a shopping center parking lot on Friday, Oct.18.
65-year-old Tina Derickson sustained severe injuries and is currently stable, according to Lt. Justin Clark. Warner Robins Police Department then arrested Christopher Davis, 40, who was the owner of a vape shop in the shopping center. Clark said Derickson was homeless.
At this time, it is unknown what Davis’s motive was. Derickson had severe injuries in her upper torso, face and head. Davis struck the woman with his hands, feet and an unknown object. Clark said they are unsure if prior to the incident they had issues, and the department does not have anything documented between Derickson and Davis.
“If anybody does have any further information on the connection between the two or any information about the case at all, if they would reach out, we would greatly appreciate it,” Clark said.
Warner Robins Police Department encourages anyone with further information on the incident to contact Detective Karmen Thompson at (478) 302-5380 or Macon Regional Crimestoppers at (478) 742-2330.
