Warner Robins on a bye after dominating Archer
The Warner Robins Demons (1-1) will kick their feet up while on a bye week after putting on a show against Archer, winning 42-7 last Friday. The Demons returned to The MAC for their home opener and showed all the fans how the really play football. Warner Robins had to get the bitter taste out of their mouth from the loss to Valdosta and came out firing on all cylinders against Archer.
Demons quarterback, Jalen Addie, had himself a day with 388 yards of total offense for two touchdowns passing, one touchdown rushing and one receiving. Once the captain got rolling, the offense didn’t let up. The Screamin’ Demon defense played lights out as a unit too, but defensive end Victor Burley stood out from the rest with two sacks and was constantly harassing the quarterback. The Demons finished with six sacks and defensive back Xavier Hill added an interception to their performance.
Warner Robins has a week to focus on themselves before the hit the field against Northside next Friday, Sep. 25.
