WARNER ROBINS— Gregory Ford, 51, of Warner Robins, pled guilty to trafficking cocaine on Monday. He was immediately sentenced to 25 years in prison and a $1,000,000 fine.

Ford had three prior convictions for drug possession and the intent to distribute.

Investigators executed controlled buys from Ford and obtained arrest and search warrants for the residence. The NIU made entry on July 3, 2024.

Ford and a few others were found inside and arrested. The Houston County District Attorney’s Office said the officers saw drugs, scales and packaging material.

Officers found over two pounds of cocaine, a trafficking amount in Georgia, 40 grams of marijuana and close to $1,000 in cash.

Investigator Chad Strom of the Warner Robins Police Department investigated the case. Ford was prosecuted by Senior Assistant District Attorney Mike Smith.

Smith said the DA’s Office will continue to prioritize going after career traffickers.

District Attorney Eric Edwards said this sentencing sends a clear message to those who traffic narcotics in Houston County: they will face serious consequences.
