Warner Robins High School head football coach and

athletic director Mike Chastain could have scheduled a AA or AAA team this week

to finish off the Demons non-region schedule. Instead the Demons, undefeated

after five games this season, will host AAAAAA Coffee High School on Friday

night. Another big test in a season that has been full of them for a new look

Demons team that has already far surpassed expectations and last season’s win

total (3).

Friday’s opponent, the Coffee Trojans, also

experienced playing above their weight class last week as they lost 33-31 at

1-AAAAAAA Tift County on Friday. The Trojans are 3-1 after defeating Effingham

County, Brunswick High and Ware County having a few games off due to recent

weather challenges in south Georgia. After playing Warner Robins they will

return to Houston County in two weeks to play their region opener against the

Houston County Bears.

The

Demons are averaging over 30 points per game during their past three games and

will open their region schedule on Friday, Oct. 6 in Thomasville at Thomas

County Central. The Yellow Jackets, currently 2-4, defeated the Demons at

McConnell-Talbert last season en route to a region
