Veterans football community rallies for “Meet the Warhawks”

Veterans football fans met not just the freshman and varsity football teams, but also the band and cheer members that will accompany them this season.

WARNER ROBINS — Football season is nearly upon us, and with about a week to go the Veterans football community rallied at Freedom Field to “Meet the Warhawks” on Thursday.

Warhawks football fans met not just the freshman and varsity football teams, but also the band and cheer members that will accompany them this season.

Head football coach Josh Ingram expressed his gratitude to the fans for coming out, and outside linebacker Hudson Warden thanked the band and cheer programs for being there with them every step of the way.

There were also food trucks, a dunk tank and live music to entertain the fans during the event.
