Veterans High School has promoted assistant basketball coach Brandon Driggers to head coach of the boys program as of Friday, according to the school’s Facebook page.

Veterans High School has promoted assistant basketball coach Brandon Driggers to head coach of the boys program as of Friday, according to the school’s Facebook page.
Driggers will replace coach Chip Flemmer, who became head coach in 2022-23.
Flemmer had a 49-36 record at Veterans and made the playoffs in all three seasons at the helm, though the Warhawks never made it out of the first round. In the 2024-25 season Veterans finished with a 16-13 record and fourth in the region before losing to Winder-Barrow 72-47 in the first round.
