Two members of Perry Horseshoe Pitchers Club recognized

PERRY, Ga. — The National Horseshoe Pitchers Association has recognized two of the Perry club’s members: Alexzander Schmidt and Royce Bird.

Schmidt has received several awards for 2022 in the league’s Cadet division. Here are his achievements:

1st National High Point Game Over Average in the Junior/Cadet division with 40 games and a 25.36 score.

4th Individual High Ringer Average in the Cadet division with a 26.25 score.

5th National High Point Game in the Junior/Cadet division with 40 games and a 70.00 score.

5th National High Point Average in the Junior/Cadet division with 40 games and a 45.50 score.

5th Individual High Ringer Game in the Cadet division with a 40.00 score.

To round off the awards, 5th Individual High Ringer Game Over Average in the Cadet division with a score of 13.93.

Bird, placing in a different division, won 5th for National High Point Game Over Average in the adult division through 40 games with a 31.77 score.
