Two arrested for Maplewood Drive shooting

On Tuesday, Warner Robins Police Detectives arrested 26-year-old Damian Sharon Jackson, who was charged with party to the crime of armed robbery, party to the crime of home invasion, party to the crime of aggravated assault and party to the crime of aggravated battery for his involvement in the shooting Monday night.

The shooting occurred Monday at approximately 11:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Maplewood Drive. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to his right cheek area and was transported to Navicent Health for treatment. The injury is reported as non-life threatening.

The victim reported that he was home alone when he heard knocking on his door, and upon opening the door, an unknown white male fired multiple shots before fleeing the scene.

As a result of further investigation, on Wednesday, the Warner Robins Criminal Investigation Division (CID), Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NIU), Proactive Crime Enforcement Unit (PACE), along with the SWAT Unit executed a search warrant at 1309 Alma Avenue. Brandon James Salinas was arrested and charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, possession of firearm by convicted felon (three counts), possession of firearm during commission of a crime and first-degree home invasion.
