The Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter presents Faithful Service Awards
The Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter presented Faithful Service Awards to eight employees for their work on behalf of the state of Georgia.
“We honor these individuals for the milestone they achieved through their work at the Fairgrounds,” said Randy Moore, executive director. “The staff is a hard working group of individuals who are dedicated to providing an excellent program and customer service.”
The following individuals received the Faithful Service Award. (Note: In addition to the employee, the other individuals included in each photo are, from left to right, Foster Rhodes, Georgia Agricultural Exposition Authority Vice Chairman; James E. Sutherland, Georgia Agricultural Exposition Authority Chairman; and Randy Moore, Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter Executive Director.)

Rick Davis, Commercial Rentals, 15 Years
Danny Jackson, Maintenance, 20 Years
Chad Moate, Maintenance, 10 Years
Stephen Shimp, Public Safety, 10 Years
Tonisha Shimp, Administrative, 10 Years
*Laurie Sterner, Horse/Livestock, 30 Years
Dan Wade, Public Safety, 15 Years
*Laurie worked for the University of Georgia Extension Service for 18 years prior to working at the Fairgrounds.
